Our friendly team is readily accessible. We take the time to listen and we can cover all aspects of your healthcare needs because we work together as a team.

If you designate us as your preferred medical practitioner we can supply GP services when you need them. For example if your employee requires medical assistance for an accident or illness, you will be able to access quality healthcare promptly, and in accordance with your health and safety requirements.

We provide specialised medical services to local industries including pre-employment medicals and the care of employees after accidents. This also involves working together with the employer and the employee to advance the rehabilitation of injured employees with the goal to return to work as soon as possible.

Fiona Morris

Dr Fiona Morris was bought up in Wainuiomata, near Wellington. She left school at 15 years old and went to work as a clerical cadet in the government where she trained to be a Librarian. A few years later she traveled overseas. When she came back to New Zealand, she met and married her husband, had her first child, and embarked on a BA in Classical studies, art history and English at Victoria University. After completing her BA, she secured a job in another government department and had her second child. She decided she wanted to go to medical school and went back to secondary school to do fifth form to seventh form sciences and maths while working full-time.

Finishing secondary school, she applied to medical school, did the medical intermediate, had an interview at Otago medical school and was accepted. Dr Fiona did her training in Otago and worked as a house surgeon and Resident Medical officer in paediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Invercargill. She worked as a senior Psychiatric Registrar at Dunedin for five years before leaving that field to work as a GP. She is a Fellow of the RNZCGP.

Dr Fiona has worked all over New Zealand as a GP, usually in isolated rural practices. She enjoys gardening, having “deep and meaningful” discussions with her husband and spending time with her pets.
